An excursion to Nainital and other well known tourist spots of Uttarakhand is being organized for the students of all the three units of JIVEM during mid-term break. The tour co-ordinator and PRO Mr Arvind K Sharma said that the touring party will leave on October 26. They will be visiting Nainital, Bhimtal, Ranikhet, Kosani, Almora, Jim Corbett National Park and several other places worth seeing. The party will be back home on November 2.

The festival of light Deepawali will be celebrated in the Wisdom City as Deepotsava 2010 on October 23rd. Mr. Arvind K Sharma, PRO said that on this occasion the entire Wisdom City will be illuminated with colourful lights. There will also be a fun-packed music ‘n’ dance programme for the students as well as for the staff members. There will be an exciting fire-work also.
